Jeff Ramson has over 30 years of experience on Wall Street, as an institutional trader and portfolio manager, as well as an entrepreneur building two substantial investment-related business enterprises. Mr. Ramson’s experience includes managing portfolios at Moore Capital Management, Barclays Bank, Credit Lyonnais and Scotiabank. In addition, he acquired and built a trading-focused broker/dealer named Great Eastern Securities, growing it from a dormant operation to a firm with 10 offices and over 100 employees.
Most recently, Mr. Ramson founded PCG Holdings, Inc., a holding company for a network of resources dedicated to the discovery and creation of value in the small and micro-cap market, an organic synergy between the entrepreneurial spirit that Jeff’s career has embodied and the entrepreneurial nature of the many small and micro-cap companies PCG works with. Divisions of PCG Holdings include PCG Advisory Group and PRISM Digital Media. These companies collectively invest in, consult with, and provide critical services to the emerging public company marketplace. In 2017, Mr. Ramson founded ProActive Capital Group, LLC, a private investment firm focused on capital appreciation through investment in next generation technology opportunities.
Mr. Ramson’s passion and understanding of transformative technologies and how they affect current and future business trends, has informed his whole career. He is known as an innovator in the intelligent use of social media to raise awareness in the investment community and represented the first Reg A+ offering listed on the NYSE. Mr. Ramson has extensive experience guiding emerging companies from their entrepreneurial start-up to navigating and advising on capital market strategies and the adoption of best practices.
Mr. Ramson graduated from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. in 1983, with a BBA in Accounting. He received CPA certification in 1985 and began his career with Price Waterhouse in New York City, with a focus on the financial sector.
